Adam’s 12 Week Weight-loss Program is an inviting and effective program that I would recommend to anyone seeking lasting changes in weight, nutrition, and lifestyle. I am impressed by his overall knowledge of weight-loss strategies and his ability to motivate you in engaging with these strategies. Adam’s program includes many evidence-based practices used in clinical social work (e.g., SMART goals, cognitive reframing, and compassion-focused interventions) in addition to hypnotherapy and neurolinguistic programming (NLP) techniques; all of which are geared to instill lasting changes and are grounded in a framework of self-empowerment and self-compassion. Adam’s approach is gentle, relatable, and welcoming to newcomers who may not have experienced hypnosis or weight-loss programming before. Rather than focus on strict regimens of dieting and exercise, Adam focuses on lifestyle changes and encourages you to find comfort in a “grey area” of moderate exercise and mindful-nutrition. In addition, Adam’s focus on encouraging the use of self-compassionate techniques have had a lasting impact on my weight-loss; an impact which has also shown benefits in my overall mood and outlook on life.
Over the course of this program, I have lost 29 lbs and am over half of the way towards my ultimate weight-loss goal. I have been equipped with the tools, strategies, and motivation to move forward along this path thanks to Adam’s program. I have broken a milestone in my weight that I haven’t been able to reach on my own with conventional diet and exercise.
